Have you heard? RESOLVE of New England is once again hosting our wildly amazing and awesome Annual Fertility Treatment, Adoption and Donor Choices Conference on Saturday, November 5th in Marlborough, MA! Registration has officially opened, so you can go get registered now.
The conference is open to any and all who can come, although the vendors are largely concentrated in the New England region (MA, CT, RI, NH, ME, VT). The presentations are applicable really no matter where you’re from, as it’s all great information.
I’m very excited by and proud of this conference – it’s the culmination of a lot of hard work of dedicated professionals and volunteers and I have to say, having been both attendee and volunteer, it’s one helluva conference.
What can you expect at the RESOLVE of New England Annual Conference?
- A keynote presentation by Dr. Ali Domar, leading mind/body infertility practitioner and author of Conquering Infertility
- Follow the Adoption Choices track to get information on everything you need to consider about adoption: international, domestic, family bonding, and more
- Follow the Donor Choices track to discover all the facets of using donor gametes, from selecting a donor to legal and even psychosocial issues
- Attend a variety of presentations about navigating your infertility journey, from sex to complementary therapies to dealing with the outside world and more
- Round out the day with a variety of Q&A sessions on everything from staying organized during your IVF cycle to determining your insurance coverage and needs; you can even wrap up the day with a participatory yoga session!
- You can check out the complete Schedule of Events here online.
3 Reasons to Go to the RESOLVE of New England Annual Conference
- Meet other couples who understand what it’s like to go through infertility
- Connect with vendors and products to assist you in your family-building journey
- Learn from respected leaders and experts in the infertility, adoption, and reproductive health fields
It’s a worthwhile experience – I promise! But don’t take my word for it… read why reproductive law attorney Amy Demma comes back to the conference every year:
For those who are considering attending but not yet committed, please do come, you will be glad that you did. For those who have already registered, whether it is your first or a return visit, you have made a wise decision. What impresses me most about my colleagues on the board of RNE is the diversity of our family building experiences and the competency with which we bring what we know to those in search of answers.
Or just ask Jes from Baby Steps to Motherhood who came all the way up from New York last year:
We had an amazing time. I learned some new things, confirmed my thoughts about my path and left feeling resolved – yes, pun intended. The most important element of this weekend that I proudly tucked into my heart is that the only way to beat infertility is to go through it.
You can read the rest of Jes’ post here.
Also, if you’re worried about cost, check out the Lisa Fenn Gordenstein Access Scholarships, generously funded by the TJX Corporation. These scholarships can be applied toward conference and membership fees. You can also get the latest updates on the Conference at RESOLVE of New England’s Facebook page and by following them on Twitter, too.
It’s going to be another great RESOLVE of New England Annual Conference on November 5th and I hope I get to meet some of you there!
